The Embraer KC-390 is an aircraft for tactical/logistical transport and in-flight refueling, developed and manufactured by Embraer Defense & Security, a subsidiary of the Brazilian Embraer group.
The aircraft sets a new standard for medium military transport, aiming to meet the operational requirements of the Brazilian Air Force, replacing the C-130 Hercules.
The manufacturer also intends to raise it as a replacement for other Air Forces that have this class of military freighter in their fleets. It is also the largest aircraft produced in Latin America.
