The Chocoband is the imaginary rock band created by Marcelo Azzeva: a 2000s band with a 1960s look, drawn in a classic cartoon style.

the story

An interplanetary ship from another dimension crashes on Earth, right on top of an exotic chocolate factory.

The crew has to use the chocolate they find to shape their dimensional fluid, so they don’t lose their vital essence.

Jimmy, the rebel, went looking for something denser to materialize with — and ended up turning into a pepper after falling into a barrel of peppers that was being used for a special chocolate-with-pepper recipe.

The other crew members fell into a giant pot full of chocolate, and that’s how they got their chocolate shapes.

  • Jimmy Pepper: the leader — vocals and guitar. The pepper;
  • Cole: guitar — the mysterious one, in dark glasses;
  • Scott: bass — the rebel of the gang;
  • Ted: drums — the quiet strongman.

Loreta, the white-chocolate bonbon, is Jimmy’s girlfriend and his duet partner — she is not a member of the band.

Today the gang lives at the TheChocoband store and in the Turma do Jimmy cartoon project, with original songs.
